response to student demand we offer you a core range of
bushcraft skills we think are most applicable to the modern
outdoor enthusiast. Over 3 days you will also learn and
practice techniques specifically selected to enable you
to step into the 'bush' in comfort and with confidence.
This is not a taster
course but is a very full and busy event with all the
skills taught to a very high standard.
The Institute of Outdoor Learning are now offering a basic Bushcraft Accreditation for practitioners called Foundational Bushcraft Competency Certificate. In conjunction with this accreditation, this Essence of Bushcraft course covers all the subjects that will be assessed plus much more. You can contact the IOL directly for the next assessement dates which are advertised on the IOL website. These two day assessments are also open to existing Outdoor Practitioners who use Bushcraft and who feel that they have a good basic competence without the need for further training. Cost is £185.
